ttc here. i have irregular cycles due to pcos. last night my ovulation test was at 0.79 (highest its been) and i got a faint partial line on the pregnancy test, it's about 1/4 to 1/2 way down on the test line, all repeated tests negative?

PCOS ?'s: Ovulation may occasionally occur with PCOS, but usually clinically proven PCOS requires ovulation induction.  Use of low dose oral contraceptives is the usual treatment for women with PCOS, as the lining of the uterus becomes thicker in PCOS which inhibits implantation.   See a reproductive endocrinologist as pregnancy is difficult to achieve with described conditions.

Pregnancy = 2 lines: Home pregnancy tests are reasonably accurate, and some have a second vertical line that appears for positive, others are different (even stating pregnant)--read the directions to see what your test means.

Pregnancy test pos?: Usually, home pregnancy tests are meant to be evaluated several minutes after testing. Also, usually lines showing +be results are blue or pink. A white line is usually a careful inspection of where the test would have shown a blue or pink line -- if it was +ve. However, not knowing which test you used, makes it tough to be sure. The best thing to do is see your ob for a reliable, clear test :)

A Lille bit early : Wait a few days and repeat it. 8 days post ovulation is a little early. Pregnancy hormone doubles about every two days so if you wait a little the repeat test will be more accurate.

Blood test for HCG: If the urine test did not provide a clear cut answer, it would be useful to get a blood test for HCG. The result will provide a definitive answer.

Possible: 14 days after the injection it is not likely to be leftover. Contact the fertility specialist treating you and have them do a blood BHCG test. This will confirm the pregnancy

Back to School?: Ten days before a period would be the time of ovulation or just past ovulation.  Conception, which can occur one to five days after sex, creates a new fetus that has no physical connection to the mother's body or blood stream.  It would be absolutely impossible for any pregnancy test to pick up a pregnancy until there is a physical connection to the mother. That is about 14 days after conception.

HPT:  Don't know which pregnancy test you are using. However, if the instructions stated 2 pink lines is positive for pregnancy and this is not occurring than this sounds like a negative pregnancy test.  If you have difficulty with the directions/ instructions - you can purchase a digital pregnancy test - which would not be confusing.

4 days late- light spotting this am, mirena removed 5/24. sore breasts. very faint line on pregnancy test last night. if i am pregnant why am i spotting?

Follow up test: Bleeding in early pregnancy is common but never normal. Schedule a visit with your obgyn to confirm the pregnancy. Then they can follow you to make sure the pregnancy developed and that it is located inside the uterus.
