About purging? yes: Stool isn't the real concern. It's purging. Sounds like you're trying to battle bulimia, which is commendable. Make sure you're battling w/all tools available. Work closely w/eating disorders specialist. Stool changes  likely related to vomiting bile instead of letting it pass into stool, &amp;from dehydration. If stool changes persist several days after resuming normal diet, seek medical care.

i sometimes have stool be 2 different colors: 1) greenish brown 2) white or pale colored. the two colors are swirled together in each stool or one is all green/brown or pale. i have autoim. gastritis, pernicious + iron anemia. what could cause this?

i had a breast mass biopsied yesterday and i noticed after my biopsy that my stool was pale, the stool changed shades a little bit from a polish greenish to a pale yellow and now it is a pale grey tan color. is this normal after a biopsy?

Pale stool: Pale stool often means that there is more rapid transit of fecal matter through the intestinal tract and the stool would be softer. . It could be from irritable bowel, food reaction, medications., viral intestinal tract infection,etc. Consult your physician if you have further concerns.

started hyoscyamine 3 days ago, now stools are pale green could the medicine cause this?

Maybe: Although what you describe does not come to mind as something to expect with hyoscyamine, the drug does affect secretory glands, including those  in the gut. I suppose this could end up causing a change in stool color.

i take iron tablets. i have dark green stool with a pale streak in it. i looked at the pale part and it looked sort of orangish in color. eat carrots?

STOP: Watching your stools! Only BRIGHT RED and DEEP BLACK are causes for concern...the green/orange/even light blackish colors are all due to the breakdwon (digestion) of IRON by your stomach/small bowel

Fast transit: I year old have fairly fast transit of foods through the digestive tract. Its not surprising that there is undigested fibrous foods like blueberry and cherry.  Probably better to puree these fruits for better digestibility and absorption as well as decreasing the risk of choking in this age group.
