Follicultis: It sounds more like folliculitis, which is an infection of the hair follicles and may need a course of antibiotics to resolve.  Herpes generally appears more like crusted painful lesions but it is impossible to say without physically seeing you.

Could be: You could be right. It could also be hidradenitis, vellushair cyst. Let dermatologist do biopsy on the area.

These cysts are located along labia, a very sensitive area. Okay to get in to see a local Gynecologist. Take a friend or family with you. Be well.

Hot compress: Try a hot compress to bring it to a head and drain it. It may be necessary to take antibiotics, or in extreme cases to have a doctor  remove it.

Pimple: Pimples are normal on the labia as well. As long as it's not bleeding, growing in size, or changin in color. If it doesn't go away in a couple of weeks and is growing in size, I suggest you get a biopsy of this or viewed again by your ob/gyn.

Milia or cyst.: Tiny cysts called milia can actually occur commonly on the vulva in females or on the scrotum in males. They are typically painless so it is slightly concerning that you are experiencing pain. This has no bearing on the fact that you are a virgin as they are not sexually transmitted. Seek a gynecologist or dermatologist to shave or extract the lesion for you.

What you describe could be normal, a pimple, herpes, genital warts, syphilis or many other things. Painful lesions are concerning for herpes and testing is warranted

Sounds like a...: Pimple or infected inclusion cyst (benign.) i would treat it with warm compresses just like you would a pimple and see if it comes to a head. If it doesn't improve in a day or so or worsens, you should see your doctor.
