Multiple reasons: There are multiple reasons for a male to have lower chest pain or upper abdominal pain. You need a complete history and physical by your physician to diagnose you. Collapse lung is associated with shortness of breath.  Chondritis can definitely occur with specific trauma.  Pneumonia has been know to cause chest pain like that.  This could also be referred pain from the upper abdomen. See a doctor.

See a doctor: This condition is called gynecomastia.  There are many reasons for it.  Medication side effects, chronic diseases such as kidney and liver disease, tumors, and certain genetic problems can cause it.  Some lifestyle choices such as anabolic steroid injection or marijuana and alcohol abuse can cause it.  Sometimes no cause is found.  See your doctor who can refer you to a specialist if needed.

Gynecomastia : This depends if there is excess fat/breast tissue with or without loose skin. Usually this is treated with liposuction, and may require skin excision if not completely resolved with liposuction alone. Male breast tissue: About 1/2  males will undergo a transient  nipple/breast enlargement at he onset of puberty. Carrying extra weigh aggravates the issue as part of the enlargement is fat.Most will resolve slowly as other hormonal changes kick in over about  a year. If the process is unchanged after 2-3 yrs ; you've made an effort to lose any extra weight, it is time to discuss it with a surgeon. No meds will fix it

Bilateral pgynaecomastia occurs in alcoholics, cirrhossi from more estroges. Cance needs to be ruled out.
