Kidneys?: The region you describe is the left kidney.  If were a kidney stone you would likely have commented on a very intense pain.  Fever and feeling sick would be aroused by kidney infection.  Again the pain can be severe and induce an er visit.  You probably have a back muscle strain and spasm.

No: no unless it is associated with other symptoms like fever ,chills ,anorexia, and vomiting .if pain persisted or becomes worst see a doctor.

Yes, diverticulitis : Is one possiblity, but it could be kidney stones, ovarian problem, or even colon cancer.  It would be best to see a doctor for this.

Could be many things: She really should be seen to have an evaluation and examination.  Causes could be benign or quite serious, but you can help encourage her to go since it has now gone on for months and doesn't seem to be subsiding.

More info needed....: Your one symptom (pain) can be caused by so many things, it is next to impossible to diagnose without more info. Could be gas, could be a kidney stone, could be blockage. ? Nerve pain: Can't really offer a diagnosis here without more history and exam but i would consider something like meralgia paresthetica.  Look it up and see if it corresponds to your history which is often of tight jeans, belt, or other compression of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve.

Contact your OB MD: At 8 weeks post C/section recurring pain is not usually the case. Contact your treating OB MD for an evaluation.

Can't tell here. CMD: Could be anything from muscular spasm to diverticulitis (inflammation of colonic polyps), ectopic (tubal) pregnancy, ureteral stone, other. Need to see a doc, get examined.
