Anal fissure possibl: If' you've had persistent pain for six months since anal sex, you need to be evaluated by a surgeon (general or colo-rectal).  If you have new pain, especially with a bowel movement you probably have a fissure.  Use a stool softener (not a laxative) - colace (docusate sodium) or similar - twice a day until it's easier to go.  Regardless, you should see your doctor.

Lubrication: If this is done first with the area as clean as possible, even an enema is helpful, lubrication is recommended and a gentle loving process then it is probably ok. If you have lots of feces and the action causes tears in your skin then you are setting yourself up for infection. These muscles can be exercised and kept in good tone by doing kegel exercises.

Rectal pain: It sounds like it may be a rectal fissure which is a tear in the rectal mucous membrane. It should heal up i'm a few more days bit if it doesn't you should have it evaluated.

Its likely from anal: Trauma. Soak your bottom in warm water couple of times a day and avoid any further activity for the next few days. If problem persists you will need an anorectal exam by a colorectal surgeon to further evaluate it and rule out any other serious causes.

You may have: an anal fissure. Try SITZ baths...after every bowel movement and bedtime.
Simple but often VERY effective!

Yeast more likely: This must be quite upsetting to you.  It may be a simple yeast infection by the symptoms that you describe.  It is reasonable to try an over the counter vaginal anti-yeast product, but also get an exam with your physician quickly, for a look and cultures to be safe.  There are patients with recto-vaginal connections, and they do get different kinds of infections due to stool leaking to the vagina.
