Urinary tract: All sounds like an issue with urinary tract except the calf soreness.  With history of enlarged prostate I would first assume you are having an issue with your prostrate, such as an infection.  Prostate can cause groin and back pain.  Have your urine checked and see your MD.

i am having groin pain on lower left side with swelling. what could it be?

Possible Hernia: A hernia results from a weakening in the abdominal wall, allowing intestines to poke through.  If you can "push" the swelling back but it returns, then it likely is a hernia.  
If the swelling gets worse, becomes reddened or is associated with increased pain/nausea/vomiting, you would need to go to the er immediately.  The intestines can become trapped, stopping their blood flow (strangulation).

Pain: Do you know why you are hurting? Why you are hurting will determine the best therapy. A stronger pain medication may help the pain, but it will not resolve the problem and can mask symptoms and make worse.
