Many causes: Clarify by describing your symptoms. Non-allergic rhinitis can be just as bothersome and harder to treat. Allergies only trigger a fraction of asthma exacerbations - eczema and hives also. An allergist is trained in evaluating these conditions.

Indoor allergies: Common indoor allergens include dust mite and animal dander.  Other less common indoor allergens are mold, cockroach, other pets (birds, rodents), and feathers (pillows, comforters).   During tree, grass or weed pollen season, pollen may blow through screens or open doors or windows, making it seem like indoor allergens.  An allergist can perform skin tests for these and have an answer in 20 min.

Several: Depends on how elevated it is, some high values do not mean anything. However one can have a blood disorder producing a high level of ige, parasite infections may also cause ige to be elevated. You should check with an allergist to check for a mast cell disorder as well.

The cause is unknown. However, dermatitis herpetiformis is frequently linked to gluten sensitivity.
