Infection: you probably have an infection.  It needs to be evaluated and may need antibiotic treatment.  Don't put off getting medical care.  Untreated this can progress to cellulitis, a tissue infection that can be quite severe and spread across the face. See your doctor or Urgent Care tomorrow. Also make sure your tetanus shot is up to date.

epidermal cyst: This is a hair follicle tumor that is filling with keratin proteins and distending the follicle to form a sack. The lesion may feel like a hard pea that is moveable within the tissue. The only way to get rid of it is surgical. It is sore to touch because some of the material is leaking out of the sack and acting like a foreign substance. Go to your dermatologist who will cut it out!

i'd twist,bend it into half,massage my ear cartilage to relieve it of soreness.now my antihelix hurts,the slightest touch causes a sharp pain.help?

Get checked: Sounds like the ear was sore to begin with and then manipulating it did not help. I would have the ear seen.

More info: Something is not right. Need a lot more information to begin to diagnose the problem. I do not know how old you are?  If it lasts more than 72 hours see a local physician for otoscope exam and treatment. If at any time you need to get medical care call 911 and go to ER if you have no other way to access medical care. Urgent care or a local doctor depending on your insurance. Pain is a warning.

Should be checked: These sound like lymph nodes which can swell up to fight anything foreign in your system- infection, inflammation, etc. Most are benign, but if they are tender, they should be checked by a doctor.
