Both!: It actually depends on the fraternity, but many of them are "clubs" that pressure young adults into excess.  Drugs, alcohol, partying, dangerous/risky activities are typical of most fraternities.  That's not to say that they are all bad or they should be abolished. Many also do a great deal of positive things for the community. They are just usually linked to outrageous partying!

Not recommended: "herbal highs" & "energy pills" are not the way to go.  I recommend that your son learn to enjoy life without having to use mood altering substances.

Diet soda: Ah, my perennial problem! i give at least 2 lectures a week and always get invited to the cocktail parties. My solution is to have 1 drink, then ask for a club soda with lime, which everyone assumes is a gin & tonic. And i avoid those little platters full of snacks - each tidbit is about 1, 000 calories. Low-cal alternatives are always available, if you seek them out, or ask.

Not really: Real cellulite does not really exist.  Fat is deposited irregularly under the skin and there is no superficial cream ointment or other topical substance that can remove it.

Check it out carefully- anyone trying to advocate a topical cellulite treatment is always selling something- plastic surgeons do liposuction for a living, there's no magic.

Yes: And they are bad without the parties. Cocaine is a very addicting and dangerous substances, which increases the chance of many mental and physical disorders, including chronic depression and even brain damage, heart attacks and stroke, and many others. Pills are not one substance, so can't answer. You sound like drugs are causing trouble in your life, and you should consider getting formal help.

Adult fun: A one year old baby is more aware of its relationships with siblings, parents and grandparents than with others.  A birthday party for this age should be modest and designed to satisfy the friendships of your family with others especially those who might eventually become companions of your growing child.
