Define "out": Your baby starts making meconium after 12 weeks and that will store evidence of any drug exposure for months if not the whole pregnancy. If you stay off the radar of CFS there would be little chance anyone would look for this, but if you continue or end up on their list, the area hospitals would routinely do both urine and meconium testing.

Days 2 couple months: Depending on the use, frequency, and duration of use. The heavier the use and the longer you using it, the longer it will be in your system. It is stored in the fat and in the hair which can be detected several months out..

Marijuana : Marijuana is detected by  checking for  it's metabolite: tetrahydrocannabinol.     If  your husband has only smoked it once,  it's metabolites will probably stop showing up in urine within a week.

A long time: The half-life of  THC, which is the active ingredient in marijuana is 30 days. In other words, 30 days after you completely stop using marijuana, 1/2 of it is still in your system.  60 days later 1/4 is still in your system. 90 days later 1/8 (12.5%) is still in your system.  THC is fat soluble, so it gets in all your fat cells &amp; slowly diffuses out. Your brain is 60% fat.
