Carpal tunnel: Carpal tunnel syndrome. Possibly cubital tunnel syndrome also. Numbness and tingling in the hand that wakes you up at night is a complaint in over 95% of people with carpal tunnel syndrome. Wrist splints and elbow guards can help at night. Neuropathic medicine and compound cream will reduce the numbness and tingling too. An electromyogram and nerve conduction study will confirm the diagnosis.

Beta blocker meds can be very effective. Antidepressants can help. The sooner you go, the better.
