is there a connection between nose bleeds and eating disorders?

Yes: When having a major nosebleed, sit up straight, tilt your head forward, and pinch the fleshy part of your nose. Take a cold pack wrapped in a rag, and apply kind of on/beneath the nose and cheeks. The key: sit still and do not check your nose to see if it's still bleeding every five seconds. Do not move. Stay like this for ten minutes, check, repeatif still bleedinggo to the er.Some people with bulimia will vomit so forcefully they will induce a nosebleed.

No: If you do it in public a lot, you might have a social problem.  Or, you might have a sinus problem, a cold, or allergies.

Not likely: I don't know of any fish born diseases (except parasites) that can be transferred to humans.  I wouldn't worry about it, but if you do develop rash or other symptoms, please see your Dr..

No: Not always. Most people who desire rhinoplasty do not have bdd. It is important to determine those patients who do have this, as they are unlikely to be satisfied with any cosmetic surgery.

the nerves on both sides of my nose pulsate endlessly and i think are causing the pain in my sinus area, is this a neurological disorder?

Likely no: It's hard to know what you mean by "nerves on both sides of the nose." this is likely a pulsating sensation coming from pressure within the maxillary sinuses due to infection or from irritation of the infra-orbital nerves which run under the eye and through the top of the maxillary sinus before exiting the skull below your eye to give sensation over the cheeks.

No, unless: No, unless the perio disease is really severe. See an oral surgeon to assess the reason for the head and facial pain.

Nose bleeds: Plavix (clopidogrel)  "thins" the blood a constant nose bleed requires an evaluation and you may need to talk to the dr who rxd the plavix (clopidogrel).

child has 5th disease rash for 2 weeks, now has major runny nose/congestion as of last night. is it related to his 5th disease or something else?

Fifth's Disease: The rash of fifth's disease can last for up to 3 weeks, but generally the associated low grade fever, cough and congestion comes early on and is gone with in a week. It sounds perhaps like a new viral upper respiratory infection might be responsible for the new symptoms.
