I suggest you address this question to your pediatrician and ask for an independent review of your baby's clinical record before deciding there was a negligent component.  To assist with that review, include any observations you may have had prior to the diagnosis.  I expect there will be a reassuring explanation of the events.

Depends on sonar: Your gynecologist and obstetrician can do a ultrasound of the baby to get his exact measurements and then use a chart to calculate the expected weight of the baby.

i was measuring right on track all pregnancy than i remained to measure 31 weeks at 33 weeks. i had ultrasound done for growth scan & was informed that baby was 4 ibs & 10oz (give or take 1 pound) is this normal weight for baby?
