Stool softeners : I recommend an OTC stool softener instead. Start out with miralax early when you are feeling constipated or bloated, there are several options you may ask a pharmacist about if you are overwhelmed by the options at the grocery store. This is much better than overeating to have a normal bowel movement.

i am taking iron for my anemia, i am now pooping black is that normal? i started taking iron supplimnets 2 days ago, 345 mg twice per day, now my poop is black, is that normal?

Iron : Iron supplements can cause your stool to be black. This is a very common side effect while taking iron. The reason is simple, the unabsorbed iron passes through the feces thus causing the darkening. This is actually a good sign because we know it is working. 
Make sure to follow up with your doctor to make sure your anemia is resolving.

See below: A very small area left to heal is not abnormal. Should be all the way closed soon. The discharge is probably fibrinous exudate, frequently present until a wound totally heals. If not completely healed in two more weeks check with your surgeon.

THis is pretty : Normal. A bm that leaves you feeling emptied every day to every other day is considered normal. Some people have a bm after every meal and this too is normal.

Yes.: All the symptoms are normal except for pain. It might be from hemorrhoids or a fissure in the anal area. Increase fiber intake in your food by eating more of vegetables, salads, and fruits. If pain persists after one week then go see a doctor.

Fiber and water: You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water so that your urine is mostly colorless. Constipation with iron in not uncommon.
