Progesterone: Progesterone will only trigger a cycle right after taking it. It does not have long term effects correcting irregular cycles after you stop taking it. If you have irregular periods and want cycle control consider starting oral contraceptives

Sounds like : You have PCOS and have irregular periods and need the medication to bleed. An alternative would just be to take the pill .  Even the way you are doing it you donor ovulate so it would be easier just to take the OCPs.

Depends : This is a Progesterone only pill.  It may regulate your period but if you also want the contraceptive effect, you must be careful to take it the same time everyday. And if you miss a pill, you must use condoms.  If it just to regulate the period, you can do a sunday start.  Take it at night to prevent nausea. It is safe to use.

: Withdrawal bleeding (which is the type of bleeding you usually get when taking hormones, rather than a true period) does not always occur after stopping the pills. Your concern should be very low but you can always do a pregnancy test if you are anxious.

Varies: Some women will not have periods at all, some will have intermittent bleeding and/or spotting, and some will have almost constant spotting with any Progesterone only birth control such as nor qd (norethindrone)..
