i think (staph) infection in toe. pus from the toe just squirted into my eye (don't ask :/). is this dangerous for my eye? what should i do?

Probably OK: The eye is terrific at cleaning itself out.  The pus that squirted in was mostly blinked out and the rest flushed out by cleansing tears.  Only if you find over the next several days that the eye gets red and irritated should you seek medical attention.  I am guessing you flushed your eye out with clean water right after the exposure.

i have a staph infection in my finger that won't go away. my eye is bleeding and also out of my bottom. is that related?

Bleeding: Staph infection in finger is probably separate unless there is some underlying immune deficiency. The blood in eye may be subconjuctival hemorrhage and bottom hemorrhoids. If this persists or recurs obtain lab work at your doctor's office.

MRSA: Mrsa means methicliin resistant staph aureus. This is a baceria that has developed resistance to the common antibiotics that kill it.  However it has not developed resistance to all antibiotics. Perhaps your doctor is treating you withone of the antibiotics that can kill this germ.

No, with exceptions: Typically it is necessary to be treated with antibiotics if a staph infection occurs. However, exceptions include 1) a small abscess that can be easily and completely drained, and 2) an infection that is completely removed from the body such ad an amputation of an infected toe, with only healthy tissue remaining.

Some basics: MRSA in not the plague or rare or as bad as many make it out to be. It can be found as the cause of most simple abscesses or pustules seen by doctors &amp; those germs are everywhere. Many simple older drugs like bactrim kill it easily as do many others.

Urethritis: The cause of the urethritis can be determined by a doctor. Most commonly it is NOT Staph... usually something like Chlamydia or a related bacteria (Mycoplasma or Ureaplasma) is responsible. There should be good treatment and this can be cured. I would go TODAY to be seen.

"bumps on vagina" ?': What is described, on vaginal areas and thighs can be venereal warts, and possibly Lichen sclerosis.  Check with your gyn provider as this may need a biopsy to confirm.

Herpes simplex: The next time this occurs you should have the blister base scraped and placed on a slide and examined microscopically and viral cultures can also be obtained.  It is less likely to be Staphylococcal, but without seeing and examining it and your medical history it is hard to know.  Good luck.
