Rarely: No appetite (anorexia) is a rare and late presentation of colon cancer.  Your age is another reason you are unlikely to have colon cancer.  Rectal bleeding, change in stools or abdominal pain/bloating are more common symptoms.  Anorexia can indicate other problems so i recommend you see your doctor, especially if it is making you lose weight!

Loss of appetite: Based on the duration and severity of the problem and any weight loss decides the need for further work up. If there is weight loss, you have to have exam and may be some tests blood tests, ultrasound and ct scan

Discontinue Imodium (loperamide) : Imodium (loperamide) decrease bowel movement. Thus, it might stop diarrhea temporarily but it can cause paralysis of your bowel causing nausea even vomitting. It does not treat the cause of diarrhea. It might worsen the symptom if it's due to infection. Losing 2 lbs from having diarrhea yesterday is serious. You need to drink plenty of fluid, like gatorade and see a doctor soon.
