R/o UTI: Please make sure you dont have what we call asymtomatic bacteriurea. See a doctor and get a urine culture first if negative then you may worry about other things.

Low Iron and Peeing: No, there are no known links between low Iron and urinary symptoms.  Diabetes can increase urination by having increased sugar in the urine.  There are no known vitamin/mineral deficiencies that result in nighttime urinary frequency.

Nocturia: Yes.  The fluid shifts in the body when one is laying down versus being up and about can be quite significant and this can lead to frequent need to urinate at night.

UTI symptoms : how long since you were treated? Have you been seen since? A more in depth history, physical exam, and testing is needed. Please see your PCP for a work up. You likely need a urinalysis and possibly an ultrasound. Sexually active? STDs also need to be ruled out.

See your doctor: Do you have any known medical problems?  Your symptoms are suspicious for diabetes but many health problems can present in this way.  You should see a doctor so he can take a proper history and consider the need for blood tests.

Not sleeping: I suspect you feel exhausted in the mornings because you are not sleeping well at night. I would try to practice good sleep habits like limiting fluid intake after 6 or 7pm. Turn off TV/Computers/phones. Try Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) Melatonin, or any other sleep aid. If you still have trouble, discuss with your doctor. Consider medication for anxiety or sleep. Get checked: At 56 lack of Estrogens cause dryness of vaginal mucosa , and  this change predisposes to urinary infections , see your doctor . May need possible local estrogen ointment  treatments.

UTI: Or simple cystitis appears likely. Other diagnoses cannot be ruled out. Best would be to try to address with GP, who should be able to further coordinate.

If your bladder wakes you up frequently, urologist will help you. If your sleep pattern is disrupted by another factor, sleep medicine specialist is your best bet. Your primary care physician will help you sort it out and guide you in the right direction.

i had two uterine polyps removed two days ago.  since last night, every time i have urinated there is bleeding.  is this normal?

Blood from vagina: The blood is more likely coming from your vagina and is not from your urinary tract. If the bleeding persists, call your gynecologist for evaluation and treatment.
