: Unfortunately, this site is for medical advice or discussion only.  To address your question, the fingers have both live and dead skin.  The dead skin is outermost and protects the live skin portion of the finger.  The dead cells are drier, and easy to stain. Nicotine would be extremely hard to remove once absorbed. Other online search would better help you, instead of a medical advice site.
