as i have used up my savings for the year, but have cover through the deb plan, how do i go about getting a referral for this problem to see my gp, who is on the list of network gp's. her name is dr nicola fourie based in edgemead?

Pleurisy: You really ought to get this checked. You may have an infection but it also can be a muscle pain. Nevertheless, see your doctor, especially if you are experiencing difficulty breathing.

why does my skin tan nicely from a day at the beach for about 2 days and then it starts to fade to almost white after a week?

Has to do with: This has to do with immediate tanning. Later on it will become more permanent.

2 months ago i sprained my ankle and everything was healing up nicely, but then a week ago it started hurting again and now i can't bear weight on it?

Needs more time: you must let things heal fully.  Stick to flat shoes, avoid sports and take it easy.  If things do get better soon, speak to your doc about this.

i've had a swollen lymph node on right side of panty line for past year. it started out size of pea and currently size of a nickle . it varies in size?

Lymph node: Most lymph nodes are benign in origin, but one that has been present for a year and grew in size may be biopsied to get a definitive answer.

is it normal to see blood clots a week before your period? they started on sunday about the size of a nickle now they bigger and more frequent?

Not normal: If you normally have regular cycles, and now are experiencing bleeding unrelated to your cycle, then no it is not normal for you.  Check a pregnancy test if pregnancy is possible.  Also, this is a good reason to check with your ob/gyn about a visit.

2 months ago i cut my knuckle 3/4" wide really deep down to the knuckle on a can lid. i used butterfly sutures & it closed nicely. about 2 weeks ago it started getting sore and now it's swelling. could it be infected? i've had tetanus shot, no meds.

See Dr: Probably OK but might check for osteomyelitis.

Missed cycle: You've experienced a missed cycle; probably because of anovulation.  Anovulation happens when the ovary fails to release an egg.  This alters hormonal levels which disrupts the menstrual cycle.
