Need poop clean out?: Each person with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. If constipation is just due to slow movement of the food and poop through the gut, then the things to try are vegetables, water, prune juice, prunes, fiber+water, miralax, (polyethylene glycol) senokot or other senna, milk of magnesia, other laxatives... A doctor can evaluate and prescribe helpful meds too. Exercise also helps.

The only thing that actually works is to increase exercise, cut back calories, and eat healthier foods over the long haul. Losing weight quickly does not help your cause. Recommended dose: There is a lot of popular news on the internet on this combination for weight loss.  I would not exceed any recommended doses for the Garcinia or colon cleanser.  FYI...both of these are not FDA regulated and there are no trials published on their efficacy either.  Good luck.

No: Diarrhea does not cleanse the colon. People with diarrhea often have solid stool in the colon, even when only liquid stools are produced. Cleansing the colon is unnecessary unless a person is having surgery or a colonoscopy. There is no evidence that uncleansed colons are related to any disease. Constipation can be treated with fiber supplements, stool softeners, and mild osmotic laxatives.
