Primary care MD: You do not say how many cafe-au-lait spots you have, the frequency and severity of headaches, nor do you provide a full description of the vaginal lesions which may well be reactivated herpes genitalis. Suggest you see your pcp and have this examined. I doubt it will be as severe as what you may be worried about.  Good luck.

Vaseline.: I know it sounds too simple but there was actually a study performed that compared neosporin with plain vaseline petroleum jelly to determine wound healing time and also risk of infection. Vaseline was actually just as good as neosporin. Also, a side note is that neosporin and polysporin (bacitracin and polymyxin) can produce an allergic contact reaction in some people!

It depends : The effects of the local anesthetics on nerve depend on the quantity and the location where the local anesthetic is relative to the nerve. Small quantities and close to the nerve can cause temporary numbness, however large quantities into the nerve itself it is thought to cause permanent damage. However, what quantity ; which nerve also have an impact on the quality of numbness or level of damage.

skin inflammation due to a topically applied medication,
