Not likely: She is likely creating very expensive urine where most of the excess vitamins end up. I think people who take ridiculous amounts of vitamins are wack jobs and should spend their money on a good gym membership. If she wants to stay alive and healthy she needs to be working out every day not popping pills.

Probiotics--worth $: "pro"-biotics put good organisms into your gut (unlike "anti"-biotics which kill bacteria) & include: lactobacillus, acidophilus, bifidobacter, sachromyces boulardes, to name a few.  Most are available over-the-counter, and may provide (in some patients): less gas, regulated bowels, prevent infections (like c.Diff), improve digestion, decrease inflammation. Check prices & desired benefits of each.

Multivitamins : While there is no specific diet for scoliosis, a multivitamin would provide the appropriate supplement to a diet rich in fruits, vegetables &amp; calcium sources.Your doctor should check that calcium,manganese,vitamin D and vitamin C and E levels are normal. ED: If you are really a 15 yo male w/ED you need to see your doctor.  There MAY be hormonal or vascular issues here and you need to find that out.  I'm sure you are an intelligent person but multiple supplements can interact together and cause issues.  Try to find a naturally oriented physician to guide you so you will be as safe and healthy as possible.  Peace and good health.

Keep a journal: I would like to see a food journal of what you are eating, portion, and amounts of food eaten. I would have a dietician do an analysisof the amounts eaten first, if it seems that your intake is adequate, the next step is to look for evidence of malabsorption or processing problems.

Many such pills are not what they are supposed to be. However, if they were banned, there would be a huge political outcry, an enormous amount of pricey litigation, and the usual cast of characters complaining about government interference. Caveat emptor.

Maybe. Maybe not.: There are thousands of supplements advertised to do all sorts of magical remedies. Very few supplements have real research studies to show benefits (but manufacturers make claims, based on theories, animal tests, testimonials, chemical similarities, etc... but not based on real research because real research is hard to do and is expensive to do).
