Replace: Replace it with a new patch. Make sue you put it on after showering when the skin is totally dry, before applying any lotions.

Not on/near breasts: Anywhere else is typically ok, usually sides of abdomen or inner thigh areas are used

It might: Or it can make it worse if the period is a result of lack of ovulation 
in certain menopausal bleeding emergencies, IV Premarin (conjugated estrogens) has been used, but is much less popular nowadays.

Yes: This is not the ideal use of estrogen.

Yes: If you are wanting to use up patches you already have, then you can do it. It's more expensive that way, so as soon as you see them up, start the higher dose patch.

Talk to your doc!: It depends on how long you've been on it.  Some side effects improve in a month or two.  If you don't like the way they make you feel, sure, try a different kind. There are many forms of hormone replacement therapy. Try others until you find one you can tolerate. Your doc is the one who can advise you best, &amp;recommend the next best step. Nobody wants you to feel worse on meds than you were before!

Can't say: You need to contact the MD who is taking care of your pregnancy (OB MD) to ask this question who will know your entire history and why the patch was prescribed.

Very much so: as 5-10% of people using the patch will develop joint or muscle aches

started bio hrt cream 3 days ago. have hot flushes, chills anxiety, nausea.  was on vivelle (estradiol) patch for 11 years before this. should i go back to vivell?

Need more time.: Hard to say if the new regimen is a failure yet. I suggest continuing the new regimen for at least 2-3 weeks before deciding that it doesn't work for you. Good luck.

my fiance is taking cyproterone mylan 50mg and provames estradiol 1mg daily prescribed for other reasons. can we rely on those as a prevention method?

Not forever: If your fiance is male, no. If female then yes.                   -Severe acne in women that has not responded to treatment with oral antibiotics.
-Abnormal hair growth in women as a result of excessive production of male sex hormones (hirsutism).
-This medicine will also provide contraception for women taking it for acne or hirsutism, but it should not be used solely as a contraceptive
