there is a very sore swelling coming out from my neck at the left of the throat area. what can this be?

Possible abscess: If the sore swelling is acute then an infected lymph node is possible.  Sometimes a neck abscess can develop either from an infected node, dental infection, inflamed congenital cyst, or spread from a throat infection.  A cancerous node usually has no pain.  You really need to see someone about this soon especially if there is fever, difficulty moving your neck, painful swallowing, opening mouth.

i have had a sore area in my throat on the right side only and have not been sick. what could cause this? no lump can be felt.

Right throat sore: I would have your doctor or a throat specialist (ENT) have a look at the are your are concerned about. To determine what is causing your sore throat, and how to resolve it, additional information is needed. Do you smoke? Have you ever smoked? What do you do for work? Do you have reflux or heartburn? Is it difficult or does it hurt when you swallow? How are your tonsils? Hoarseness?

i developed a sore throat the day after painting the inside of a home. the area was not super well ventilated, so i'm wondering if the sore throat is related to the fumes from the indoor paint? what can i do to relieve the sore throat?

: Maybe/not. This could be an inhalant exposure or an unrelated new illness. Using throat lozenges or gargling with salt water may quell any emerging symptoms. If they increase over time with no re-exposure, consider it an infection and get checked if needed.

i have a sore throat at night and tender to touch around throat area, on the outside, almost sleeping at work it's unusual ?

Sore throat /sleep: Consider reflux and sleep apnea. Reflux at night would cause the sore throat  as the acid refluxes into the throat. You can take ranitidine and omeprazole. for that and when you sleep elevate the head of bed with a pillow under the mattress. Also check for H pylori, a bacteria associated with reflux. Sleep apnea would make you sleepy during the day .F/U with doctor /urgent care

could a mild sore throat persisting for several days now with few other symptoms be due to the change in weather in my area?

Yes: There are many causes of mild sore throat including heating and air-conditioning dryness or more stir the air allergies and a mild upper is gvirus

question. if i move my throat side to side, like my adams apple area and down will it do any damage? i had a stuck feeling and i started wiggling my throat. now its sore and hurts. can it cause any damage to spine or anything? concerned?

Easy Remedy: For sore throat – gargle with warm salt water (1/2 tsp salt in 8 oz of water). * For congestion – saline nose drops or a neti pot.

?multiple causes: Your symptoms could be caused by various processes including but not limited to: tooth abcess, throat infection, soft tissue trauma, fever blisters with secondary bacterial infection, and soft tissue infection among many others.  If the condition goes away in 5-7 days, then no worries.  Otherwise see your PCP for eval and possible referral.
