Not via this forum: This is our public forum. Try HealthTap's private premium forum, for a virtual visit where a doctor sees you on video. A doctor located in the patient's state may send prescriptions to a pharmacy, but not for narcotics nor for certain other medications. Sometimes prescriptions aren't given because an in-person exam is needed. Fees for private consultations do NOT change depending on prescriptions.

Wrong site: Call your pharmacy if you need to pick up meds. If told that your prescriber did not send prescription in, reach out to your prescriber's office.

: First of all, this is not the platform in which prescriptions can be refilled.  The person who originally prescribed the medication to you is the person whom you should ask.  Most likely, that person, who normally is a Physician, might want to have you come in for an appointment, and discuss how you are doing on the medication.

Depends: Depends on whether your plan has provisions to pay for medication. Ask your Pharmacist, you prescribing Physician, or ask the best source, your Insurance Company.

Call your Pharmacy: Typically, prescriptions can take up to an hour to process. Call your pharmacy and ask if your prescription is ready. You can then pick it up at your convenience. Occasionally, a Dr will take slightly longer to input their note and send the prescription. In that case try calling back after a few hours and re check with the pharmacy.

what is my vision if my prescription is -11.00?

Counting fingers: A higher degree myopia at the -11 diopter level will not allow you to see the big, 20/400 e on the standard visual changes.  The level below that is recorded as counting fingers at some distance (2 feet or 3 feet etc.).  Remember that what counts is the corrected vision which should be normal when you wear your glasses or contact lenses.
