Am assuming: That if sexually active you have  already taken a home pregnancy test. Once you have missed 3 menstrual cycles ; you are normally regularly - it is time to see your gynecologist to explore the reason.

No period for 3 mos: See the ob/gyn  he or she will work this up appropriately. You need to get blood work and an ultrasound likely. Good luck.

Never automatically: Nobody is considered pregnant solely by the number of days her period is late.  The diagnosis of "pregnancy" is by other means, such as pregnancy tests, ultrasound scans, etc...

Likely: If you have had 2 negative pregnancy tests and one is recent, then you are likely not pregnant.  The question is whether or not your periods have always been regular.  As you have gone 3 months without a cycle, you should be evaluated by your gynecologist.

Yes: If you have been having unprotected intercourse and your period is late you could be pregnant. Check a pregnancy test and if it is negative and your period still hasn't started repeat it in3-5 days. If it is still negative, you need to see your primary care provider or a GYN to look into what is going on and begin a reliable method of contraception. Hope this helps.

Possibilities...: First thing to check for is pregnancy. If this is not the cause then you need other tests in order to find out if there are other problems like hormonal( thyroid, prolactin, testosterone, for example) imbalances. Other possible reasons: stress, abrupt changes in your diet or excessive exercise. You need to see a gynecologist in order to get a definite diagnosis.
