With missed period: If you have regular monthly periods, a pregnancy test will be positive when your period is due.  A pregnancy test can be positive as soon as ten days after ovulation/conception, which is about four days before the menstrual period is due.  So is certainly should be positive by the time of the missed period.

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

Watch for pregnancy: Please be aware that Implanon only lasts for 3 years.  So if you have really had it in for 5 years it is no longer effective, and you had more chance of getting pregnant.  If you really are not pregnant, and period 2 weeks late, there can be multiple reasons including stress, hormones being off, gaining or losing weight, too much soy, for instance.

If no condom used: Can be possible. It depends what part of your cycle that You were at Saturday. You can try a home pregnancy test again next week, and if it's negative then you are not pregnant. I usually people are the most fertile around their ovulation time in their cycle, and this is usually two weeks after a period not one week before your period. .

Late period: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle.
