See an orthopedist: You need to have the knee imaged, a functional assessment made and a determination of whether remedial physical therapy, surgery or some other modality of treatment is necessary.  See an orthopedist soon.

i was in an abusive relationship 3 years ago and the guy injured my right knee i still get the sharp shooting and stabbing pain at night and when it is cold will the pain ever go away what do i need to do?

Consult your doctor: Three years is a long time to live with pain. Why have you not consulted your doctor? It is difficult to suggest a treatment without examining the knee and may be doing imaging studies, please do yourself the favor of getting advice and treatment from your doctor.

i got an acl ligament surgery in march of right knee.the problem is that the leg is still not bending at fullest and also thigh muscles are weak.plz help to recover fast.?

Followup visit: At this point after acl reconstruction, you should have about as much motion as you are going to get. Sometimes the motion is not just limited by lack of effort, and can reflect other problems. A meniscus repair that has not healed or acl graft positioning can cause stiffness that cannot be overcome. The muscle weakness you just need to work and push through! time for a recheck!

Most likely problem : In the joint. A baker's cyst is a fluid-filled cyst that causes a bulge and a feeling of tightness behind your knee. The pain can get worse when you fully flex or extend your knee or when you're active.Get  it checked and ask if your doctor if will order MRI on the knee that ould give him a good about your problem.

Painless pop is ok: If pop without locking or catching or swelling. Then it is not that worrisome. If catching or pain with pop, or with intermittent swelling then you shoulder get an mri.

i injured my right knee and now i have swelling in my right upper thigh, what do i do?

Best have it seen to: By your pcp. You could have pulled a muscle in upper thigh or it could just be a hematoma (collection of blood), which will resolve by itself over 7-10 days time.
You could apply an icepack, take pain meds and rest the knee would all help.
After an examination the correct treatment could be initiated depending on your diagnosis.

Just the knee numb?: Nerves to the knee basically broken down into those that come from behind the knee (articular branches of the tibial and obterator nerves) and those that come from the front (articular branches of femoral, common peroneal and saphenous nerves).  Would need full history and good exam to try and determine where the issue might be. List off possible causes long. Best to see your doctor. best of luck

Get Exam &amp; X-rays: Not all injuries are obvious initially. Since you ARE continuing to have trouble, go to find out some details.  Talk with a doctor about your fall and subsequent pains,get an exam and a few straight forward x-rays. That will likely sort out the problem.
