SINUSITIS?: Did you recently have sinusitis, runny nose, sore throat, earache, cold, flu etc?

Need to be examined by an ENT doctor to rule out maxillary sinusitis.

Any possibility of  bug bite like spider?

No: This sounds more like a toxic reaction or an infection. Are you sure that these bites were from gnats and not from another insect such as spiders.  Best to get checked since it involves your eyes.

Allergic Reaction: You could be having an allergic reaction to certain chemical. Swelling of the face and lips is a concern. This reaction can get worse with more swelling and it can affect your breathing. Seeing a physician soon or going to an urgent care is recommended.

Possible infection: The first thing we need to know is if the pain in the eyelid in the area that is swollen or if it is actually the eyeball that is painful. If the eyelid is painful, most likely there is an infection in the lid which need to be treated with topicla and possibly oral antibiotics. If the eyeball is painful, then the swelling in the eyelid is a reaction to whatever is causing the pain.

Eyelid pain: You may have a cyst in one of the eyelid glands or even a stone or blockage in a tear duct
try a warm compress or visit your family doctor if there is redness or discharge
