Give it time: Give it a day or so, and if it is due to sleeping wrong, it will resolve itself.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

i'm 5 weeks post shoulder instability surgery and my bicep hurts so bad! i'm at a 7 on the pain scale. what could be wrong?

Call surgeon!: Please call your orthopedist, or talk to the doc on call for the practice.  That doc knows what procedure was done and what possibly could be causing the pain now.  If you have fever, severe pain that is new, new numbness, tingling or weakness, and you cannot reach the doc, go to the ER for evaluation.

hi! had rotator cuff surgery 3/2/2012and 7 months of therapy i have terrible pain when i lift my arm half way my bicep hurts so bad that i have to drop my arm it still pops and cracks the doctor said he is done. what could be the problem thanks?

Rotator cuff: Would get a second opinion. Sounds like you are still having shoulder problems. Would recommend another ortho surgeon or physical medicine or sports medicine physician.

Elbow pain: Hyper extention of elbow can cause pain to anyone.  You are probably injuring your elbow with some activity you do everyday.  Try to analyse what you are doing and which arm it is.  Even working at the computer with the mouse can cause pain.  When you find the cause then try to rest the affected area.  Ice packs help.  Change of position at work or at computer might help.  Look for the cause.

See your doctor: This is one of those problems where a visit to your doctor is necessary to figure out what's going on.  Only after a thorough evaluation, including examination and possibly labs and other tests, can your doctor correctly diagnose you and treat you effectively.

Biceps pain twitch: If the muscle is in spasm or twitching you should be examined soon to be certain that there is no nerve or muscle tear injury.  Cooling it mildly short term might help but please see someone soon.
