It varies.: If you let your baby drink formula each feeding until he/she doesn't want any more, then offer a balanced diet of baby food after each bottle, your baby will take the right amount of each. Most 9 month olds will take 30-35 ounces of formula daily, with enough solids to fill them up the rest of the way.

Nope!: The newborn formula designed for 0-3 month olds has basically 2 small differences from "older kid formula". First, if you think of milk as "curds and whey", newborn formulas are more whey predominant, so they are a bit easier to digest.  There is also a little higher vitamin content in nb formula, but an older infant can certianly drink this. They have the same calories and nutritional content!

Usually not: Emergency contraceptive taken once during breastfeeding will not harm your baby. Most common side effects is a reduction in milk production which lasts 1-3 days. Do not use emergency contraceptives regularly while breastfeeding. Use IUD, mini-pill, or barrier methods.

Possibly serious: White stools in an infant can be an indication of a problem with bike drainage of the liver (biliary atresia most common of these problems). These problems usually have jaundice (yellow eyes). I recommend having your son see a doctor immediately.

Alternate approach: These kids will often refuse formula if you are the one offering it. If the can smell you, they want you. If you use the father or a friend offer formula when they are hungry &amp; you are away this can sometimes push them to accept the change. The formula will always taste different but that is likely not the issue.It is worth a try.

Try a cup: Only liquid she should be drinking are milk and water, try using a sippy cup. Some babies take it  immediately, while others take a while to get used to the idea.

Use cup for best stf: To draw a kid to a new behavior, they need to find it rewarding.Putting the stuff the kid likes to drink in the sippy cup & limiting the other to water will often do the trick.You might wait a bit longer to enforce the change. I do so at a year.

No: A baby should have breast milk or formula to drink.  After 24-32 ounces of the milk, they can have up to 6 ounces of juice a day.  If they are still thirsty, then water.
