Doctor can examine: Throat pain in a teen can be from a strep throat (antibiotics needed), a cold or flu (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to look for strep). Occasional sharp chest pains may or may not be related to the throat, so a Dr. should check.

You just need to: see a healthcare provider as the rash can be difficult to diagnose without it being examined properly.   Muscle pain and cough generally point towards a viral infection of some sort, but if you have a rash then that introduces a bevy of other possibilities. Degeneration of the joints or discs can cause neck pain, headaches, and shoulder pain.  You can also get neck pain from a muscle strain.  In some cases neck and shoulder pain could be related to your heart so be sure to see you physician.

You may need to modify your exercise regimen but exercise is still advised.
