No DifferentBacteria: Staphylococcus aureus frequently present  human skin & respiratory passages, especially nose. Control of this bacteria, as with all, is a function of the immune system. Sa is most commonly a commensal bacteria, but that reality is not good for marketing fear. Dietary choices, activities, emotions & any internal control affecting immune function can change. Mrsa merely means multiple resistant abs.

Incomplete: Eradication is common. We treat with phisohex, bacterium, bactroban, (mupirocin) then we test the nares or the throat. We can miss it if temporarily it is eradicated in the areas we test, or the load is less and we miss it from swabbing. Good hygiene, good hand washing is utmost in preventing spread.

No test : When the wound is healed, the infection is definitely gone. MRSA can be on our skin without causing infection. To detect MRSA living on your skin, colonization, you can have a swab culture done.

See ID specialist: You need to consult an infectious disease specialist on this.  In fact, you should question whether your problem is from mrsa. If necessary, go to a local university center.

More info: Colonization with MRSA is usually checked with a nasal swab. Infection in blood is checked in blood cultures  and sometimes wound cultures are taken if there is a wound. What are your symptoms and where is your infection?

Need to examine: What you are describing does not add up. Sugar does not cause MRSA.It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor.Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

my dad has mrsa and i've been in contact with him . been sick for months and the basic cell count come out negative they won't do mrsa blood test ?

Blood cultures?: If you want doctors to do blood cultures for MRSA there has to be a good clinical indication for this, and without knowing what is going on with you and examining you there is no way to comment on this. What do you mean by "sick for months"?  MRSA infection is not likely to go on for months untreated. You would likely die of this. You need to have discussion with the doctor.
