can sediment in water cause mouth ulcers?

Mouth ulcers: Mouth ulcers are cause by many, many things, so i suspect that they could be caused by some sediment in your water, although i'm not aware of any specific sediment that might contribute to mouth ulcers. Perhaps you should consider filtering your water if it has visible sediments in it, i.e., brita or some other commercially available water filter.

the past couple of months i've been waking up with a severely dry mouth. i drink lots of water throughout the day... what could cause this?

Dry mouth.: Could be something as simple as needing to drink more water during the day, but there are some medical conditions that can lead to a dry mouth that should be investigated.

Yes it may: Changes in taste; dry mouth; headache; indigestion; mild diarrhea just a few side effects induced by amox tr-k. If concerned call your treating physician for medication adjustment. Keep drinking fluids in the meantime.

what are causes of dry mouth and thick mucus? i drink a lot of water and i am not on meds, what could be the issue?

Occluded airway: Dry mouth not related to  maintenance medicine use, maybe a sign of an altered airway causing one to breathe through their mouth almost all the time.
Have your dds/dmd check your bite. Some bites are predictors of a limited airway. Then see an ENT for an air way evaluation. 
Loud snoring during sleep , awaking to your own snoring are tips of this.  Many dds/dmd now treat sleep disorders.

couldn't swallow iron tablet (325mg) for some reason, kept it in mouth until crumbled then chewed the rest, drank a lot of water. is this bad?? scared

Iron tab: No, not bad. Iron can upset your stomach, so tabs are coated. But iron comes as liquid for children and adults, and it is not harmful or hurtful.  Absorption of iron is only 10-20 percent.

More Bogus than Real: Blood pressure determined by balance of cardiac (heart) output vs. Total peripheral (arteriolar) resistance, both controlled by our brain + additional local feedback into arteriolar resistance. Our bodies are built of salt water; fundamental to all living creatures & necessary for life. ↑ nacl intake tends to ↑ water retention which may increase heart output, bp, edema; but absolutely not primary.

: In the cold weather because of heating the humidity could be quite low in your house so your hands may be dry with the soap you use and mouth can be dry with mouth breathing. There is nothing serious, you should use a humidifier next to your bed, keep humidity above 35% all the time and using gloves if you do dish washing with soap.

: I can not link these as cause &amp; effect. Certainly some who does not drink water for 8 hours can develop one, just like someone who drinks 8 oz/hr. They are often caused by viruses you plant in your mouth from your fingers.

Eroded: Enamel perhaps, try sensitive toothpaste and mouthwash for a while, no improvements talk to your dentist.
