i'm using an online ovulation calculator to track my ovulation, but i'm still not pregnant (5mths). are they accurate? any suggestions on other ways?

Seek consultation: If one's menstrual cycles are not regular, unlikely that an online ovulation calendar will be accurate.  Probably a good idea to keep a menstrual calendar for a few cycles and if not pregnant, seek consultation with gyn (bring menstrual calendar) for a basic infertility evaluation, which normally would include assessment of ovulatory or anovulatory cycles.

Not accurate: Online calculators make lots of assumption.  First they assume that you ovulate, which is not the case for all women.  Then they either assume that your periods are exactly 28 days apart  or that you ovulate exactly 14 days before your next period.  A better way is to use over the counter ovulation prediction kits which will help you know when exactly you are ovulating and time intercourse

Varies: Depends how accurate your due date estimates are. If you have a super-reliable dating then the reverse calculation is "pretty good," like within 3-4 days. If your EDD is +/- 2 weeks as it often is, then the reverse calculation will be not useful. Good wishes.

i used this online conception calculator under babymed. it says im 38w2d today (i should be 36w4d). ovulation on 25/10/2019. implantation on 14/11/2019. i have very long cycle length. why implantation take 3 weeks?

Biology: Ovum gets fertilized in the Fallopian tube, it takes about 3 weeks for it to move to the uterus, grown enough to get implanted and make enough HCG to become detectable as an fetus.

Predictions: Those kinds of calculators are only as good as the information you give them.  If you feel you are ovulating now, then have intercourse, and see if it happens.  If not, then you have another piece of information to give the calculator next month.

However, you need to be taking prenatal vitamins starting now, in any event.

You don't: Calculators make assumptions that everybody ovulates and that everybody has periods every month.  However, this may not necessarily be the case.  Calculator will just give you an ovulation date 2 weeks prior to your menses.  To be certain that you actually ovulate, you should purchase an OPK and use it as directed, generally start testing ~ day 10 if you have regular periods.

Dates: On a normal cycle your ovulation is 14 days before your next period. But since you can't foretell the future, this is of little help. You might have 11-17 days from the beginning of your period until ovulation. After ovulation it is always 14 days to your period. The apps have to assume a 25 day cycle or a 28 day or a 31 day cycle - thus the difference.

You can learn: There are a few ways to help: basal body temperature charting, monitoring your vaginal mucus patterns, strictly monitoring your periods to calculate most likely ovulation time, using urine test strips for luteinizing hormone .  Combining at least three of these and carefully keeping your records for at least 6-12 months can help you to best predict the most likely time to get pregnant.

i had sex yesterday night after 12am that  means on 23/3/2014.ii found my ovulation date is 24th using a ovulation calculator. is there any chance?

Yes: Sperm ejaculated into the female can survive longer than 48 hours hence has apple time to fertilize the egg released on the 24 th.

Unclear question: If you are concerned about being pregnant, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex.
