No: The morning after pill keeps the ovary from releasing an egg for longer than usual. It prevents pregnancy from occurring because there is no egg to be fertilized  by the sperm.

Levonorgestrel 0.75: Plan B is levonorgestrel 0.75mg taken twice.  Plan B One-Step is double that dose simply taken once.  There are a number of generic equivalents that are equally effective and generally about half the price.  Next Choice is one of those brands.  A doctor could also prescribe a single high dose of a cheap generic progesterone or combination birth control pill, or placement of an IUD will work.

: Yes, complete the prescribed course; the shift in schedule will have no significant consequences.  The blood level of the medication changes gradually so, although it fell a bit, there remained medication in the blood.

Within 72 hours : of unprotected vaginal sex, yes. If already pregnant, would have no effect or benefit.  If unsure about possible pregnancy, a urine test could be helpful.  Suggest you see your doctor for a more consistent and reliable contraceptive plan.

Within 72 hours: Plan b (levonorgestrel)should be taken within 72 hours (preferably within 12-24 hours) of unprotected sex. If vomiting occurs within 2 hours of taking Plan B one step repeat the dose.Some side effects are abdominal pain/cramps/nausea/breast tenderness, spotting/dizziness. Plan b is not used routinely to prevent pregnancy, discuss birth control options with your doctor.Practice safe sex use condoms.

i am currently taking lamictal 25 in the morning and 50 at night.  i keep on forgetting to take the morning pill.  would taking lamictal xr help?

Once daily med. : It's always easier to remember to regularly take a once-daily medication than one you have to take two, three or more times daily. So any medication that can be safely switched to once daily helps with compliance.  It's worth a try - see how it works for you.

No and probably no.: I doubt that taking the morning after pill will cause fibroids to grow.  It is also unlikely they will go away on there own.
