Hip fracture: A displaced femoral neck fracture with significant hip arthritis would make her a tha candidate. Check with your orthopedic surgeon.

i took 2 doses of 50 mg of tramadol 2 1/2 apart is take ok i had total hip replacement 2 weeks ago this coming up monday ? i was to take tylenol 650mg i was taking with mom & my wife she just made pizza i got side tracked which never happened ?

34, bilateral hip replacement. fell on ice last night, concerned about potential damage.  if i would have cracked the plastic, would  i feel something?

Unlikely : If you fall hard it is possible to break the femur close to the hip prosthesis, especially in older patients. Generally one does not break the plastic because the plastic is surrounded  by metal. One can wear the plastic over long period of time but it is gradual process. Sudden fall will not break the plastic. If it hurts get checked and x-ray to make sure you did not get a fracture of the bones.

Hip replacement: This is not normal. What does your surgeon say?  The prosthesis may be loose or mslpisitioned. An X-ray would show the problem.

What's loose?: Hip replacement being loose can refer to the hip being unstable, or to an implant being loose in the bone.  Either way, evaluation by your surgeon is warranted.  Want to make sure there is not failure occurring.

Yes: A fall onto a replaced hip can lead to a fracture around the implant. If after a fall, your replaced hip doesn't feel "right" , give it a couple of days. If it is still hurting more than a bruise, it would be prudent to see your PCP or the orthopedist that replaced your hip . An x-ray will be definitive.

i've had hip replacement 8 years ago, and am now experiencing pain in the rear of the hip and down my leg. what would cause this pain?

Sciatic nerve pinch.: Based on it's location, the pain is most likely due to compression of the nerve root as it exits spinal canal (at the level l5-s1). The test, that is most revealing, is MRI of the lumbar spine. Consider visit to pain specialist for evaluation and treatement.
