2 methods birth cont: If you use multiple methods of birth control at the same time say the bcp and condoms the failure rate will be significantly less than either method alone.  The only reason to consider this method is if you absolutely don't want to be pregnant, and you are concerned about a failure of a single method.  If you use barrier contraception you will the chance of a sexually transmitted disease.

Prevent Pregnancy: First of all, you may have side effects from multiple pills. The most common ones are nausea or vomiting which goes away quickly. Second, the pills will likely prevent a pregnancy, that might have otherwise grown in the uterus, from doing that. The pills alter the uterus to make it temporarily difficult for a potential pregnancy to stick and grow there.

No: It's not unusual to have some spotting if you miss a pill but it doesn't normally last for 3 weeks. Call your clinic. Sometimes abnormal discharge is related to infection or pregnancy.

Basics: If you have been on the pill for at least a month &amp; take it as directed there should be no problem. The pill puts a stable amount of hormone in your system daily that prevents egg release. No egg=no pregnancy. If you miss pills, you may release an egg &amp; be at risk.

i'm on birth control called camrese i missed two pills made them up like i was supposed to then after i made them up i been bleeding for 2 weeks now?

Hormone issues: Often times when we miss pills, there can be prolonged spotting.  I would use a back up method of birth control until you get to the end of the pack (continue to take a pill every day).  You may bleed until you finish the pack.  Once you start a new pill pack, hopefully the bleeding will go away.

im on birth control, i take it every day on time but on my third week, i miss friday and saturday pills but took both on a sunday late evening. the next day on monday i took sundays and monday pills early in the morning.. can i still get pregnant ?

Late period?: Have you missed your period?  You don't indicate what the problem is. 
Missed/late period: low body wt, obesity, weight ^ or v,  ^exercise, endurance athletics, breast-feeding, stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), anovulatory cycle (no egg released), travel, perimenopause, just starting menstruation, hormone irregularities, drug use, meds (i.e., birth control) or med problem.

Yes: It is very common to miss periods on the depoprovera shot. Your doctor should have explained this to you.
