That's what happens!: When you take the oral contraceptives irregularly or missing pills, then breakthrough bleeding is "what happens." Additionally, you run the risk of unintended pregnancy.

IBS: Assuming the opposite of constipated means the stools are loose, or worse, then likely irritable bowel syndrome. Start off with stopping all caffiene, and limiting carbonated beverages. See if any association with fatty foods, if so curtail these as well. Could be a gallbladder issue or a bowel disease so if symptoms persist after the above get it checked out. Also if blood is involved.

Hemorrhoids, fissure: The most likely cause of the "red stuff" would be hemorrhoids, but a fissure is possible as well.  Colonoscopies can miss lesions, such as cancer, but the miss rate is very, very low.  Check out the cause for the presumptive rectal bleeding with you gastroenterologist or colorectal surgeon.

Pregnant: Bloating and uterine fullness can be a sign of pregnancy.  However, being on your period would make that less likely.  However, there a re a reasonable number of women who will have period during the first one or two months of pregnancy. If concerned I would check a pregnancy test.

Repeat test: Repeat the pregnancy test. If you were pregnant it would be positive by now. If it is negative still then you are not pregnant.

Are you worried that: you're pregnant?  Have you missed any menstrual periods?  Have you taken a home pregnancy test?  If you used the "quick start method" when initiating BCP,'s, you should have been protected against pregnancy at the time of the incident.  While there appears to be little risk of taking BCP's early in pregnancy, continuing to take them if you think you could be pregnant is a not a good idea.

Two Pills: If you miss pills for 2 days, take 2 pills the day you remember and 2 pills the next day. You will then be back on schedule.  If you didn't do this, you should call your Gyn for instructions or read the package insert.  You should also use a back-up method such as condoms, until you start your next pack.   Missing 2 pills can give you some spotting.  Best wishes!

No: Your Depo-Provera is not a reliable method since it has been a while since receiving it. You need to use a back up method (condoms) until you start your next pill pack. Try using the mobile apps to help you remember to take your pills. Also, i recommend taking your pills with something you do each day, like brush your teeth.
