Cavity: This really depends on how deep the drilling is going to be. Shallow cavities usually are simple but I have yet to hear of a simple cavity. Hence in general there will be some pain while having it attended to.

NO: Discuss your concern with your dentist prior to the procedure. Most patients request or require local anesthesia to "numb" the tooth so absolutely nothing is felt for the entire procedure. You have other options as well. Ask your dentist what is right for you and the specific procedure planned.

: Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant used to treat spastic muscle movements such as in MS or spinal injury. Rarely it is used for back spasms. You should see or call your prescribing Dr to determine if you are eligible for a refill and if they need to see you or if they can just call it in to the pharmacy. For short term use (back spasms) a Dr will need to see you to evaluate the injury progression.

Why are they sunken?: Is it weight loss?  Is it tooth loss?  If it is tooth loss, consider tooth replacement, as in implants bridges or last choice removable prosthesis.

At your age: A simple fluid filled cyst in the ovary is almost always benign. Followup ultrasound is generally not done unless the cyst is over 5cm in size or it has features that are suspicious for something other than a simple cyst.

Pain...: If a cavity is a bit deep, you dentist will recommend a small shot of anesthetic. The pin prick will hurt a bit... Lets face it , it's a sharp needle. But that should be about it, for a couple of seconds. Many of my patients have their cavities filled without an anesthetic... And they don't complain about any pain. It's the nature of the procedure.

Topical treatment: Try using triple antibiotic cream if they look infected, or Hydrocortisone cream if they itch.  If you are not sure they are bug bites, see a physician, especially if they are on your palms and soles or if you have a fever.

Hole is filled: Basically, a cavity is a hole in a tooth caused by dental caries or tooth fracture.  The dentist will remove(drill) the rotten tooth structure, provide some retention ,  attach a form to shape, then place a filling material(amalgam, resin, ceramic, or gold) to rebuild the tooth back to original shape.  If cavity is very large, then the dentist may advise a crown to cover the tooth.
