i've had a few hives after taking many unrelated drugs, such as tylenol, (acetaminophen) nsaids, keflex, mestinon, & others. how can i be allergic to every med?

Uncommon: This is a condition known as multiple drug sensitivity syndrome and the mechanism is unknown.  I suspect however that at least some of these reactions are coincidental and you need to consult an allergist to get this issue sorted out.   Challenge test may be in order.

Mestinon (pyridostigmine): Mestinon (pyridostigmine) stimulates cholinergic nerve receptors, which can affect your GI system, heart rhythm, breathing, sweating, and vision.  Nervousness and anxiety are not usual side effects of this medication.

im told i have mild lateral rectus weakness in both eyes. what is it? i have a possible diagnosis of mg responsive to mestinon & a confirmed diagnosis of behets which one of these is more likely to cause this? is it something i need to worry about?

: The lateral rectus is an extraocular muscle allowing the eye to turn to the side.  Weakness on lateral gaze results in double vision.  This can occur with either Behcet's or Myasthenia Gravis, and a positive response to Mestinon would suggest the latter diagnosis.  Yes, you should be concerned and follow up closely with your treating neurologist.

Many: The serious reactions include arrhythmias, hypotension, syncope, bronchospasm, respiratory arrest, pulmonary edema, cardiac arrest, av block, bradycardia, paralysis, seizures,  the common reactions include diarrhea, abdominal cramps, dyspepsia, headache, dizziness, hypersalivation, runny nose, muscle cramps, nausea/vomiting, blurred vision, fatigue, urinary frequency and others.
