: Maybe/not. Studies have shown this occurs in many within the population, reaching 1% by one study. If the kid has this as an isolated finding, not part of other unusual features it has a variable influence on development. There may be some delay in motor development, or not. I have never been comfortable translating these variations into bad news for parents. Seek an evaluation by 6 months.

Yes: Block basements and old cisterns are often associated with mold growth.  Exposure to molds has been associated with a variety of respiratory disorders and should be avoided.  Mold grows best in wet areas so it is important to keep basements dry and avoid household water leaks.  If visible mold is present in a house it should be removed/treated by an expert.

Not usually related: The cisterna magna is a spinal fluid space in the back of the brain which lies just posterior to the cerebellum.  The space may be enlarged for a few reasons, both normal and pathologic (abnormal).  You should have  a MRI to evaluate further (if only CT done) and see Neurosurgeon or Neurologist for their opinion.  Do you have any symptoms?  Remember headaches can be from stress. Good luck.

: Based upon the provided information, there appears to be no rationale for current concern, as you describe congenital anatomical variants.  Over time, if neurological symptoms emerge and progress, then actions should be taken.  But at this time, am dismayed that this type of imaging was obtained based on infrequent complaints of dizziness in a normal child!
