Cannot say in your: particular case. Wellbutin w. phentermine is being evaluated as a diet pill combination. Probably safe. Does NOT interact well with all blood pressure meds. Clonapin is addicting and potentially a problem.

i am on phentermine and cannot sleep due to the numerous bug bites i have. i took one benadryl (diphenhydramine) allergy. anything i need to watch using both these meds?

Minimal concerns: Usually if anything Phentermine will keep you from sleeping.  Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is sedating.   This should be fine. I am not concerned!  Hope you can get a good night's rest!

Hard to say: Itch and dizziness are common symptoms, and are reported as side effects for many meds. Not familiar with your meds, but any med can have side effects. If you're concerned, get a medical exam.

Short term: Fastin is phentermine, indicated for the short-term assistance in weight loss efforts. Make sure your blood pressure is under control first. Weight loss will help blood sugar control, but so will a low-carb, prudent, diabetic diet along with a regular exercise program. You can get more weight loss by adding onglyza/bydureon/januvia, depending on your need for a1c reduction.

Hard to tell...: It's hard to tell when there won't be any more medication in the body or urine of a particular individual. The half-life of a drug can vary from person to person. Some websites say the half-life of Phentermine (fastin) is somewhere around 16-31 hours. If a half-life is 24hr (1 day), that means after 1 day, half the drug is still in the body (then 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, ...1/64 remains after 6 days).

No official level: The FDA encourages no more than the recommended dosage of 37.5 mg.  Phentermine has effects on the nervous system. High doses can cause mental distrubance, hypertension,  and heart rhythm disturbance. There are also gi symptoms. Excessive doses are potentially fatal.  Phentermine is contraindicated for patients with significant heart problems, glaucoma, and overactive thyroid.

Different brand name: They are all different brand for the drug phentermine, which is an amphetamine that was used to reduce weight, but no longer approved for this, because of the harmful side effects.
