Marijuana: Please discuss this with your Physician. If you have PTSD then a Clinical Psychologist could help you with these symptoms and a Psychiatrist could give additional help with medication. After you have had an evaluation of your heart condition and your PTSD and have been treated for these conditions then you could see if you need additional substances and ask  your Doctor about marijuana.

Regular rhythm ,: It depends if your afib is of recent onset or if it is chronic.Recent afib can be converted to regular rhythm with medications or an electric shock after ruling out that there is no clot in your upper chamber of your heart by doing a special Echocardiogram called Transesophageal Echo.Chronic afib reqires control of heart rate with the help of medications &amp; long term blood thinning medications .

Relativity: There are no perfect treatments for af. The most effective, amiodarone, unfortunately has the most serious long term toxicity. The problem with all other meds (except simple beta blockers and calcium blockers) is that they can cause other, more life threatening arrhythmias. The most important risk factor is the presence of cad. Other than that, trial and error is the best bet (with exceptions).

Maybe: This is a decision that is best made with the advise of a cardiac electrphysiology specialist. If proper testing indicates that your arrythmia is due a small and localized area of abnormal heart cells, than you could be a candidate for the proceedure. Paroxismal afib is probably more likely to meet the criteria for successful treatment. Chronic afib is less likely to respond.

Provided that kidney function is normal, there would be no harm in using magnesium supplements in this setting.
