Yes...: I have had the opportunity to work with several men interested in breast implants ( to feminize the chest wall).  This is a different situation from trans gender patients in transition and from men who are looking to augment their chest walls ( pectoralis implants).

This subset of patients is somewhat uncommon;  very important to  understand patient motivation clearly and to advise carefully...

Not a fan: My honest opinion is that i think pec implants look ridiculous. They just don't look natural ... Sorry. Get back on the bench and push it out.

Accepted Answer

Yes,but why ?: A chest x-ray can be obtained at any time as needed and will be interpreted based on the history of the patient. If you have implants they will change the x-ray picture & the doctor will see the implants & take them into account during interpretation.They obscure less when looking at a side view x-ray.

Pectoral : Pectoral implants are generally placed under the pectoralis major muscle.  The access is via an incision in the armpit that is about 2 inches long.  Initially, you need to be careful about too much stress on your chest muscles but after about 6 weeks you shuld be able to resume weight lifting and other activities.  My experience is that men who have these implants do not have any problems with activities or muscle weakness.  They should not have any negative effect on future muscle building.

Accepted Answer

Submuscular silicone: Since female bodybuilders often have very little fat and/or breast tissue to conceal implant edges and ripples, submuscular silicone cohesive gel implants are better than saline.  After healing the pec muscles can be worked and strengthened again, and the "extra" tissue coverage is a huge benefit, as well as the decreased risk of capsular contracture. Above the muscle and saline not recommended!

Personally, : Personally, i don't particularly like the look of pectoral implants for men, but that's personal opinion more than a scientific answer.  If you do decide to pursue this, try to find a asps plastic surgeon that does this operation for men routinely, not someone who rarely does it.

every morning  for 10 month's continually i am awakening we other my blood pressure at 157/128 -112 and a terrible tearing chest pain.. i have a linq implant but the specialist found nothing unusual wrong with my heart's electrical . please advise?

Ambulatory BP: monitor and stress echocardiogram plus formal adenosine stress testing and 24 hour Holter monitor will be needed. Your BP is dangerously elevated and will need at least 2-3  cardio- protective BP medication and follow up with your cardiologist..  Go to the ER NOW!

Yes: Depending on the magnitude of the pectus excavatum, there are a variety of surgical procedures and/or implants that can be used to correct this. I would suggest seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.  Good luck!
