Accepted Answer

No: As long as you don't have any open wounds which could become infected, a sugar scrub won't elevate sugars.  A scrub is for the skin. The sugar won't be a problem unless you eat it.

No, but these: Are also not likely to do you any good. Rubbing sugar on your skin will not raise blood sugar.

Keratosis Pilaris: Treatment of keratosis pilaris can include the following medications:

topical exfoliants. Medicated creams containing alpha-hydroxy acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid or urea moisturize and soften dry skin while helping to loosen and remove dead skin cells. Depending on their strength, certain creams are available over-the-counter and others require a prescription.

No: This is likely keratosis pilaris. This is a benign condition affecting many people. Glycolic acid topically applied may provide relief. A slightly stronger exfoliator than sugar is probably called for.

No A!C change: Since this product is being used externally, then very little of it should be absorbed unless you are soaking in a bath tub with the same.

Might be lip eczema: Such lip symptoms could be lip eczema, which can be treated like skin eczema, using hydrocortisone cream plus Vaseline or Aquaphor to retain moisture. Sometimes, lipsticks or lip sunscreen chemicals are causing an allergic reaction on the lips. Other times, a person is a primary lip-licker (it's her habit). Once cracked, lips get irritated by routine foods and juices. A doctor can sort things out.

i recently used honey and sugar as a scrub to attempt to exfoliate my lips,i am left with a dark scar on bottom lip it kinda hurts will scar go away?

Exfoliation: If you did this recently, you may have an area of hyper pigmentation that won't necessarily remain as a scar. Give yourself a chance to heal. It may lighten with time. If not, there are many skin lightening options.

NO: It will make it worse. Do no do anything to scrub it. Just use a moisturizer with an acid in it like amlactin 12 % because it it is caused byu clooded follicles. Usuallly they open up at puperty as the gland mature, bue not always. Scrubbing definately makes it worse.

: I am curious as to why you would think this excessive washing is necessary or helpful in any way. The human body is designed to need standard cleaning. I can't see the benefit of the extra work. If you are using this for some health condition, please follow the guidance of your healthcare provider.

my soles of feet are itchy every night i try everything . its very scaly just on the soles of feet in one spot. i try sugar scrub , cream , vasline , cortisode 10 , clotrimazole and it still scaly what takes away the scales thats prob why its itchy?

Scaly feet : Foot fungus can be a persistent condition when you never really remove the source of reinfection -  fungal filled footwear or stepping on a fungal filled floor (e.g carpet)
