i have used both lysol & clorox wipes for cleaning & on body & skin daily for years. am i @risk for getting cancer?

Probably not, but: soap and water is much better for cleaning skin.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

14w6d pregnant. used lysol wipes while wearing gloves to clean out shower. probably spent 7 minutes total wiping. no skin contact. would take breaks to step out of shower for fresh air. slight smell (lemon scent).  is this harmful to baby?

Not really: You do want to be careful around chemicals and make sure that you're not using something obviously toxic, but a basic cleaner you get in the grocery store is unlikely to cause any significant harm to the baby. Now if it damages you in some way, that could harm the baby by extension, but if you're doing ok the baby probably is too.

Not good for you: It will not hurt you if your eyes were not hit but it is not good for you either.  It is to kill germs in the air not on your skin.

Accepted Answer

Not recommended.: There are many types and causes of skin rashes that could cause itching.  Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.

the skin will it be bad for you? i put it all over my pants and backpack bc of germs.

Highly unlikely,,,: Unless you've done this many times and really soaked your pants and backpack with it each time, it's highly unlikely that you'll have long term consequences from this.  Lysol products are supposed to kill germs.  It'd be wise not to do this often because you've got normal bacteria on your skin that protect you from germs and you don't want to kill them. Why risk it?: There are appropriate skin cleansers for a variety of purposes, such as those routinely bought in the grocery/pharmacy and those prescribed by physicians such as for helping acne.   Lysol is designed for cleaning non-living surfaces and should not be used as a skin cleanser.  Human skin is not a counter top.

Rinse skin: Lysol disinfectant spray is not intended for use on the skin. It can irritate the skin.  Key to rinse area well if sprayed on skin.  Also avoid spraying eyes. Keep skin clean using soap and water.

my 11 year old kid got a bit of lysol on his finger and he said he was chewing his skin from that finger that got a bit of lysol and he says he swallowed it what should i do?

Watch and wait: What you described is unlikely to have adverse health effects. You may watch and wait. Give him enough water to drink so that his urine is mostly colorless. If he gets any symptoms it would be prudent to consult your doctor.

Brief exposure is ok: If only on skin surfaces, brief exposures are ok, but it's best to use wipes made for skin. There are probably 5 different kids of Lysol wipes, so one would have to read the labels to see what's in them. The most common wipes likely have alcohol, similar to any hand sanitizer gel.  Wipes made for skin will likely have gentler ingredients or gentler amounts of the ingredients. Diaper wipes are ok.
