i have been having extreme hip, knee and ankle pain but no swelling. my daughter has lupus and i have been tested 4 times but my blood work comes back?

Varies: There are a lot of potential causes; usually it is some structural problem in these areas, or a radicular pain from a "pinched nerve" in the back, or an inflammatory condition.  A detailed exam and appropriate studies can usually determine the cause.  Don't hesitate to get a second opinion if they are having trouble coming up with a diagnosis.

Vasculitis: Small black spots on you finger tips could represent necrotic areas due to tissue damage to small blood vessels; either from inflammation of the blood vessels or from emboli (small blood clots originating in an other area of the body). This symptom requires immediate attention from a physician.

Yes: A common symptom of sle is arthritis or joint pain and swelling which can involve just one hand. Usually there will be other symptoms as well such malar rash (red rash over the cheeks), increased sensitivity to sun, possibly hair loss and rash on the body, hands or knuckles or scalp.

Too many to answer!: If you have persistent pain, see your physician, who may refer you if needed to a "rheumatology" specialist if needed. There are over 100 types of inflammatory arthritities.  But if you are having joint swelling-see your doctor, because this stongly suggests inflammation, which always needs treatment! persistent joint pain with fatigue suggest arthritis which may need specific rx.

i wore loosely fitted  socks that fit and they caused marks on my legs, ankles, and feet. could this be swelling or a lupus flare , have sle?

Lupus flare: Lupus flare is diagnosed based on how you feel, doctor's exam and blood work as well. It is unlikely that what you are describing is a lupus flare. Best wishes

See Rheumatologist: Your wife needs work up for autoimmune diseases. Sle will have other diagnosis features usually ANA positive and dsdna positive.

Yes: Any inflammation in the area drained by a lymph node can result in enlargement of the relevant node.

Yes: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person.  He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.

just dx w/lupus doc put me on steroids which i quit due to the hip pain it cause me some chest pain at times bp 155/105 joint pain low fever at times

Call doctor: This is something you must get advice from your rheumatologist.  It is not a good idea to stop steroid on your own since uncontrolled inflammation from autoimmune diseases can lead to permanent organ damage. Call your doctor now.
